SEMINAR ON “BEHAVIOR IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS TRAINING” THEME
On February 4-5 “Behavior in emergency situations training” seminar to prepare specialists was held in child care daytime center in Dilijan of “Bridge of Hope” NGO.
The aim of the seminar was to prepare specialists with behavior in emergency situations teaching methodology skills.
The seminar was implemented by LORE rescue team in the framework of “Improving community resilience in Tavush marz” project by OXFAM Armenian office and OxEGen foundation.
THE START OF ”RISK INFORMED URBAN DEVELOPMENT” PROGRAMME IN STEPANAVAN CITY
In the frame of ”Risk Informed Urban Development” programme implemented by the UN Development Programme (UNDP) Regional Office and funded by the “Catalytic fund”, the first meeting-discussion was held in Stepanavan community, where the main purposes of the project and planned activities were introduced.
Highlighting sustainable development processes of the city and surrounding communities, in 2013 Stepanavan city joined the UN International Strategy for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR) «Making cities resilient. My City is Getting Ready “global campaign and undertook to implement its ten essentials.
